India has sent medicines and vaccines for patients with Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease worth two million dollars to Nepal. In a social media post, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, the first tranche of over 17 thousand vials of Vaccines for Immunization of patients with Thalassemia was handed over to Nepal on its request. Mr. Jaiswal reaffirmed India’s commitment to the Neighbourhood First Policy.
