External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar today said ‘India First’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ are the two sides of the same coin for India. He said the welfare and safety of Indians are the top priority, and Vishwa Bandhu is the ideology of the foreign policy of the country. Delivering a lecture on “Foreign Policy the India Way: From Diffidence to Confidence” in Hyderabad at a meeting of eminent professionals and intellectuals, he said India has become the voice of the global south. Stating that the country’s foreign policy has transformed a lot and changed the perception of world countries during the past ten years, he said that from a fragile five-ten years ago, India has become one of the five top economies. Stating that with two crore Indian citizens and 1.5 crore people of Indian origin, the Modi ki Guarantee does not stop at the borders of India but is global, He said almost all countries are expressing interest in connecting with India.
