Minister of State for Ayush, Prataprao Jadhav, today said that India has now emerged as one of the most sought-after destinations for treatment and medical tourism. Addressing the Medical Value Travel Conference and Awards in New Delhi, Mr Jadhav said that India aims to be a leader in not just heritage or spirituality but in medical tourism as well. He added that India is at such a juncture where it is seen as a centre for affordable yet reliable treatment. He noted that this will showcase the nation’s outstanding medical strength and global outreach and cooperation.
