In Cricket, India defeated West Indies by five wickets in the first One Day International of three-match series at Kensington Oval in Barbados last evening.
Chasing a target of 115 runs, India overhauled the score, posting 118 for the loss of five wickets in 22.5 overs. Earlier, put into bat, West Indies were bundled out for 114. While the second ODI will be played tomorrow at the same venue, the third and final match will take place at Brian Lara Stadium at Tarouba in Trinidad on the 1st of August. Both countries will also play five Twenty20 international matches after the ODIs, starting from the 3rd of August.
