India has allowed export of ten thousand tonnes of onion to Sri Lanka. It has also allowed additional quota of ten thousand tonnes of Onion to United Arab Emirates. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has issued a notification in this regard. It said, the additional ten thousand tonnes of Onion export to the United Arab Emirates is above the 24 thousand 400 tonnes allowed earlier. Commerce Industry Ministry said that the export of Onion has been allowed through National Cooperative Exports Limited.
