In Chhattisgarh, students will now be able to receive medical education in Hindi as well. The announcement was made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Hindi Diwas today. Speaking to media personnel in Raipur, he said that the state government has decided to offer medical education in Hindi at government medical colleges in the state. Distribution of Hindi textbooks in medical colleges will begin with this session.
Mr. Sai noted that the biggest benefit will be for students living in rural areas, as they will be able to understand the subject more deeply. The Chief Minister also mentioned that the option to study MBBS in Hindi will be available to students. They will be able to choose between English and Hindi for their studies
