India Meteorological Department, IMD has said that heat wave conditions are very likely in isolated pockets over Konkan today and tomorrow. It said, West Rajasthan is expected to face heatwave conditions from tomorrow till 18th of this month. Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, south Haryana and Bihar are expected to face heatwave for three day from Thursday. North Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan are likely to experience heat wave conditions on 17th and 18th of this month. Severe Heat wave conditions are also very likely in isolated pockets of West Rajasthan on 17th and 18th of this month and also in Punjab and South Haryana on 18th May.

 

IMD said, wet spell with isolated heavy rainfall accompanied with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are very likely to continue over south Peninsular India till 18th May.
