IMD says rainfall activity to continue over Central India

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) today said the enhanced rainfall activity will continue over Central India with very heavy rainfall in isolated places over Konkan and Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat today. IMD also predicted increase in rainfall activity over East India including Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha from today and Northeastern states with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall during next 5 days. 

The IMD said, light to moderate rain continues to lash several parts of national capital and NCR region today. It said light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi, NCR, including Rewari, Bawal, Nuh Hapur, Gulaoti, Siyana, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar.

The IMD also predicted light to moderate rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh till Saturday, while East Uttar Pradesh will experience similar weather conditions until 31st of this month.
