India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast Heat wave conditions to continue over parts of east and central India during the next 4 days.
The IMD said that Heat wave conditions will be present over pockets of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Punjab and Haryana till the 12th of this month.
Maximum temperatures is expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over East India till tomorrow and by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius over Northwest India during the next 4 days.
Meanwhile, the weather agency has forecast light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds over North-East India, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during the next 5 days.
The IMD added that these conditions will also be prevalent over Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 4 days.
Similar conditions will be present over North India including Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.
