India Meteorological Department has predicted increased rainfall activities in Arunachal Pradesh for the next few days till March 25. An IMD report states that moisture incursion is very likely to occur due to Strong low level southerly and South-westerly winds from the Bay of Bengal to Northeast India during this period. The department said that under its influence fairly-widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy rainfall along with thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur over the state till 25th March.
