The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that heavy rainfall will continue over the Western Himalayan Region, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and East India during the next seven days. Heavy rainfall is also likely to continue over Haryana, Rajasthan, and northeast India during the next 4 to 5 days. The weather office has predicted light to moderate rainfall over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Jammu, Kashmir, Haryana, and Delhi during the week. According to IMD, heavy rainfall is likely over Odisha during the next 2-3 days and  Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya will witness heavy rainfall till the 19th of this month.
