India Meteorological Department has forecast extremely heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Odisha today. The weather department has also predicted very heavy rainfall over East Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh till tomorrow. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura will also witness the same during the next 3 days. The Met department estimated heavy rainfall over Odisha, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe till tomorrow.

According to the IMD, rough to very rough sea conditions over the Northwest and adjoining Northeast and Central Bay of Bengal and off the Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and West Bengal coasts till today’s evening. IMD has advised fishermen not to venture into the same till the morning of the 11th of this month.
