India Meteorological Department has forecast isolated very heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh for  Friday (5th July 2024) as well as in Uttarakhand and East Uttar Pradesh till Sunday (7th July 2024). IMD has forecast isolated heavy rainfall in Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh till Saturday (6th July 2024). IMD has further added that light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning is also expected over East and  Northeast India during next five days. It also informed that heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and heavy rainfall at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal is also recorded on Friday (5th July 2024) .
