India Meteorological Department has forecast isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharastra on Sunday under the influence of a Deep Depression, Faily widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning is very likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Rajasthan during the week. Met department has also forecast scattered to fairly widespread rainfall over Uttar Pradesh and isolated to scattered rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during the week. The weatherman said isolated very heavy rainfall is also likely over Uttrakhand on 6th and 7th August.

Fairly widespread to light rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning is very likely over East and Nort-East India during the week.
Very heavy rainfall has been forecast at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh from 7th to 9th of August and in Assam and Meghalaya today.

Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to experience very heavy rainfall tomorrow.
