India Meteorological Department, IMD has warned of widespread rainfall across various regions of the Country till Friday. It has issued a Red alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Goa, Coastal Karnataka, South Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for today and tomorrow.
 
Senior Scientist, IMD  R.K. Jenamani told Akashvani News that there is an Orange alert for heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand and Haryana.
