The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert of extremely heavy rainfall warning for coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha for today. Talking to Akashvani News, IMD Scientist R K Jenamani said that Chattisgarh and Jharkhand will also witness heavy rainfall till tomorrow. The weather department also issued an orange alert over isolated parts of Madhya Pradesh for tomorrow. He said that light to moderate rainfall is also likely in Delhi-NCR region today.
