The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and red alerts over Northwest, East, and Northeast India during the next 2 days due to heavy to very heavy rainfall. Talking to Akashwani News, IMD scientist Soma Sen Roy said that monsoon will soon spread over the entire nation with coverage over parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan in the upcoming 4-5 days.
