Fairly widespread rainfall and snowfall with isolated thunderstorms, hailstorms, and lightning is likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. Indian Meteorological Department has forecast light rainfall over West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and West Madhya Pradesh for the next four to five days.
IMD also said that light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are very likely over Arunachal Pradesh during the next seven days. It said that isolated light rainfall is very likely over Northeast India till Friday.
The weather agency has projected hot and humid weather over Kerala, Mahe, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal during the next three days.
