The India Meteorological Department has forecast thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, and West Uttar Pradesh on Monday. Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura can experience dense fog in the night and morning hours tomorrow. IMD also predicted cold wave conditions in isolated pockets of West Rajasthan during the next 2-3 days. The weather office added that parts of the Bay of Bengal can witness squalls during the next 2 days and advised fishermen to avoid venturing into the region.
IMD further added that there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures over Central India during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, Delhi NCR region witnessed light rainfall this evening.
