Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim. According to IMD, a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius is expected over Northwest, Central India and Gujarat state during the next 3 to 4 days. IMD Predicted, hot and humid weather conditions at isolated places over Konkan and Goa, Kerala and Mahe, Coastal Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
