Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light and moderate rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two days. According to IMD, a gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is expected over Northeast India and Vidarbha region during the next 2 to 3 days.
Meanwhile, strong surface winds between 25 to 35 kilometres per hour will likely prevail over Northwest India including Delhi during next 24 hours. Over South India, hot and humid weather conditions are predicted over Kerala and Mahe today.
