The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall and snowfall over the Western Himalayan region till tomorrow. IMD said that heavy rainfall and snowfall are likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand till tomorrow. The Weather agency also forecasts light to moderate rainfall with lightning over Punjab, Haryana, and  Chandigarh during the next 3 days. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana today. IMD said that isolated hailstorm activity is very likely over Punjab and Haryana today and tomorrow.

The Weather agency forecast hot and humid weather to prevail over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa and Coastal Karnataka till tomorrow. Meanwhile, Delhi recorded its highest temperature of the season at 32 degrees Celsius yesterday. According to IMD, it was six points higher than the seasonal average
