The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Ladakh, Gilgit and Muzaffarabad during the next three days. It has also forecast light to moderate rainfall over Uttarakhand on the 26th and 27th of this month. The Met Department has predicted that hot and humid weather conditions will prevail in isolated pockets over coastal areas of Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. The maximum temperature will gradually rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the plains of Northwest India during the next two days.
