India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall and snowfall over the Western Himalayan Region from Monday till Thursday. Light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
The IMD also predicted isolated light rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. The weather office forecast light to moderate rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan on 13th March.
