The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and East Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan over the next two to three days. According to IMD, fairly widespread to widespread light rainfall is very likely over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of South peninsular India during the week. The IMD said that deep depression over Gangetic West Bengal will continue to move west-northwest wards across Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh over the next 24 hours.
