India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Karaikal and Mahe till tomorrow. According to the IMD, the north-west and eastern parts of the country are expected to witness a gradual fall in minimum temperature by two to three degree celcius during the next three days. The weather agency has predicted heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Tuesday.
The IMD said, Delhi and the National Capital Region are likely to experience smog and shallow fog during the night and morning hours in the next two-three days. The weather office predicted moderate to dense fog conditions in isolated pockets of north-east Uttar Pradesh tomorrow during morning hours.
