IMD forecasts gradual fall in minimum temperatures by 2-4 degrees Celsius over Northwest, Central, & East India during next 3 days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal during the morning and night hours today. Similar conditions will be present in Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

 

The met department predicted cold wave conditions over Jammu-Kashmir Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch during the next 2-3 days. The weather office added that parts of the Bay of Bengal can witness squalls and advised fishermen to avoid venturing into the region.

 

 

The Met Department said that there will be a gradual fall in minimum temperatures by 2-4 degrees Celsius over Northwest, Central, and East India during the next 3 days. It also predicted shallow fog and mist in the morning and night hours in Delhi NCR for the next 2-3 days.
