India Meteorological Department has forecast isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, south Odisha, and south Chhattisgarh on Friday and over Vidarbha and Telangana on Friday and Saturday under the influence of Depression currently over Northwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is very likely over Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka today and tomorrow. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is also very likely over Gujarat today and on 21st and 22nd July. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into northwest and adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal and along and off North Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh coasts today and tomorrow.
Met department has also forecast scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, and Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during the next five days. Isolated to scattered rainfall is also likely over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Rajasthan during next five days.
