The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that dense fog conditions are likely to prevail during the late night and morning hours in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura today. Similar conditions are also predicted for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jharkhand, Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal till tomorrow. According to the IMD, light to isolated rainfall is expected over Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh for the next two days. The Met department also forecast shallow fog and mist in the morning and night hours in Delhi NCR for the next 2-3 days.
