India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a fresh spell of rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds over Northwest India from 18th to 21st April. Light to moderate rainfall is likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. IMD said, isolated to scattered rainfall with thunderstorm is likely over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan and West Rajasthan.

The weather office has also predicted heat wave conditions in isolated pockets of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, north Konkan, Saurashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during next three days.
