IMD forecast fairly widespread to moderate rainfall over Northwest and Central India during next 5 days

Indian Meteorological Department has  forecast fairly widespread to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning over Northwest and Central India during next five days. Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Chandigarh today. Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, and East Madhya Pradesh are likely to witness isolated heavy rainfall from today till the 9th of this month. 
 

The Met Department has predicted heavy rain in Punjab and West Madhya Pradesh tomorrow. Vidarbha region is likely to see isolated heavy rainfall on the 8th and 9th of this month, whereas heavy rain has been forecast in Chhattisgarh from tomorrow until the 9th of this month.

 

Isolated, very heavy rainfall is likely over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh today. Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over East and Northeast India during the next five days.
 
Isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar from tomorrow till 9th of this month. Jharkhand is likely to witness isolated heavy rainfall tomorrow.
 
Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is very likely over Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa, and Gujarat during the next five days. Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall is likely over Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and interior Karnataka during the next five days.
