The Inspector General of CRPF, Manipur & Nagaland Sector called on the Governor of Sushri Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan in Imphal on Thursday and apprised the Governor on the security situation in Manipur.
 
The IG CRPF briefed the Governor about the security measures being taken up by CRPF in tackling the prevailing situation and also extending assistance to the violence-affected people in the State.

The Governor appreciated the efforts put in by CRPF especially during the last three months and asked to lend support further in bringing normalcy and peace. The Governor asked the IG to distribute utility boxes to the internally displaced people staying at a relief camps opened in Imphal East district.
 
A team of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) headed by its Director called on the Manipur Governor today and briefed the Governor about the various support given to the needy people of the State.
