In IFSC Youth Asian Climbing Championship, India’s Joga Purty bagged the silver medal in the finals of Women’s Under 18 Speed Climbing event. She broke the national record with a timing of 8.89 seconds as against the previous 9.10 seconds at Jamshedpur yesterday. Joga Purty lost the final to Aninda Qalbi Arsyilah of Indonesia, securing the silver medal. While, South Korea’s Jimin Hwang won the bronze medal. Athletes from 13 Asian nations went head-to-head in the speed climbing events.
