Yesterday, in the Group ‘B’ match, West Indies defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE. This victory also brought the West Indies a step closer to qualifying for the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team has one final game left to play in the group stage as the team will seek to extend its winning streak against Australia on October 13. Though India finds themselves in the runners-up spot but they need to defeat Australia to seal their spot in the final 4 teams. A loss is likely to make things quite complicated for them. India has to win their final match of the group stage otherwise, their semi-final qualification chances will not be in their own hands.
