Information and Broadcasting Minister has accused opposition parties of running away from discussion on Manipur issue in Parliament.
Talking to media outside Parliament today, July 21, Mr. Thakur said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already asserted that strict action will be taken against the culprits. He said, the Prime Minister also underlined that such incidents must be checked in any parts of the country. The Minister alleged that the opposition is escaping from its responsibilities.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi also reiterated that the government is ready for discussion on Manipur violence in Parliament. He accused the opposition of raising new demands to disrupt the proceedings of Parliament.
