Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the former president of Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Ashok Singhal on his birth anniversary today. In a social media post, Mr. Shah said that Ashok Singhal ji did unique work for public awareness by being a leader in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. He added that Mr. Singhal lived a simple life and was always ready to serve the nation. The Home Minister said that his struggle for the unity of the nation and sacrifice for the cause of religion is a source of inspiration for all of us.
