Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not only made the country proud by developing it, but has also done a great job of involving everyone in the development of the country.
Mr Shah virtually laid the foundation stone of the country’s first cooperative-run Sainik School near Mehsana in Gujarat today. He said that this Sainik School has been started in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to start 100 new Sainik Schools on PPP basis in the country.
He further said that the work of water revolution in Gujarat was done by then Chief Minister and present Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Modi has done the work of raising the water level in Gujarat through the Sujlam Suflam Yojana. He said that the central government has done the work of connecting people with the cooperative sector.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel along with senior cabinet ministers were present on the occasion.
The Sainik School will be established at Boriyavi village, 11 kilometers away from Mehsana city by the leading cooperative Dudh Sagar Dairy at the cost of 75 crores rupees.
