Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah today participated in a religious function in Pawta, located in the Kotputli-Behror district. He took part in the completion of the 108 Kundiya Rudra Mahamrityunjay Mahayagya organized at the Taposthali of Yogi Baba Balnath in Bavdi. Mr Shah also addressed the Sanatan Dharma Sammelan. He said that Baba Balnath worked for public welfare, service to animals and birds, environmental protection and social harmony, which his followers are continuously carrying forward. Mr Shah said that the Nath sect has worked to strengthen the Sanatan Dharma.
A huge number of devotees from various states, including Rajasthan, attended this grand religious event to celebrate tradition and spirituality. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajan Lal Sharma also addressed the gathering. Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Jaipur Rural MP Rao Rajendra, and several MLAs also participated in the program.
