In the national capital, Delhi, a passing-out parade of the largest-ever batch of Delhi Police Head Constables was conducted today at the Delhi Police Academy in Jharoda Kalan. Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dependra Pathak attended the parade. On the occasion, Mr. Pathak said that training is a very important element of policing, and all the trainees have completed it and joined the Delhi Police family. He added that they have pledged to provide the best public service delivery to the citizens of Delhi, and the department believes that this new batch will make the Delhi Police effective, efficient, and capable of providing better policing. Our correspondent reports that a total of 1,351 head constables attended the parade.
