Prasar Bharati Chairman Navneet Kumar Sehgal has said that Hindi should be promoted while respecting all languages. Addressing an event to celebrate Hindi Diwas at Prasar Bharati Secretariat in New Delhi today, Mr. Sehgal said, Hindi language is easy to speak and understand. He said, everyone should speak Hindi with pride. Mr Sehgal said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivers his speeches in Hindi on big platforms across the world.

Speaking on this occasion, Prasar Bharati CEO Gaurav Dwivedi stressed working in the official language Hindi in day-to-day official work. He said Hindi has its unique position among Indian languages. Mr. Dwivedi appealed to the officials to use Hindi while working on E- the office platform. Director General Akashvani Pragya Paliwal Gaur, DG Doordarshan Kanchan Prasad, and other senior officials attended the event.
