In Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, six people were killed and five others injured when a large tree fell on several vehicles following a landslide near Gurudwara Manikarn Sahib today. Officials said the tree, uprooted by a storm and landslide, fell onto vehicles parked on the road.
Kullu’s Sub Divisional Magistrate, Vikas Shukla confirmed that medical teams, police, and revenue officials are on-site coordinating rescue efforts.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the district administration to provide full support to the victims and ensure the best medical care for the injured. Further details are awaited.
