In Tamilnadu, higher secondary results for the State Board were released today. The State has recorded 94.56 percent pass percentage. This year a total of 7.5 lakh students appeared for class 12 exams. 25 districts have recorded more than ninety percent pass percentage. Exams were conducted from March 22 to April 13. Girls surpassed the boys with a 96.44 percentage. Out of the total 7532 schools, 2478 schools have registered 100 percent results. Government schools registered 91.02 pass percentage. A maximum of 6996 students in Computer science and 6142 commerce students have scored 100 percent. Over 26 thousand students scored a centum in either of the subjects. 125 prison inmates had appeared for the exam and 115 of them have passed the exam.
