High voltage campaigning witnessed in New Delhi ahead of May 25 polls

High voltage campaigning can be witnessed in New Delhi, ahead of the polling day on the 25th of this month. Key political figures across party lines are holding rallies, Public Meetings and Road Shows to woo the voters in favour of their candidates in the fray under the seven Lok Sabha constituencies of Delhi. Today, Uttarakhand BJP leader and Chief Minister, BJP leader Pushkar Singh Dhami held poll campaigns in Chandni Chowk, Janakpuri and Patel Nagar in favour of party candidates. Addressing a campaign in favour of the New Delhi BJP Candidate, Mr. Dhami said that the massive development under the current government indicates a positive tide in favour of the BJP in the current Lok Sabha elections.

 

Meanwhile, AAP convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal campaigned in favour of party Candidates from South Delhi in Sangam Vihar. Addressing the rally, He appealed to people to vote in favour of development done by the AAP government. He also campaigned in Kalkaji and Badarpur.

 

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh participated in an election campaign in North East Delhi. BJP leader and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav held a poll campaign in Sarojini Nagar and Kalkaji.

While Senior BJP leader, Shivraj Singh Chouhan held several poll campaigns in West, North West and North East Delhi. BJP leader Navneet Rana participated in poll campaigning at South Delhi’s Chatarpur and East Delhi’s Krishna Nagar. BJP Lok Sabha candidate from Meerut Arun Govil campaigned in East Delhi’s Mandoli and Chandni Chowk’s Ram Nagar.

On the other hand, Senior Congress Leader, Sachin Pilot addressed a Mahapanchayat and campaigned in favour of the INDI alliance candidate from the North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Delhi Congress Chief Devendra Yadav addressed a town hall program at Delhi University organised by the Indian National Teacher’s Congress.

A total of 162 candidates are in the fray for seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. The voting will take place on 25th May in Delhi.
