Heavy rains hit various districts of Maharashtra, including Satara, Sangli, Beed and Ahmednagar. The rain brought relief to residents of Ambajogai town in Beed district who have endured severe heat for the past few days. The unexpected downpour, accompanied by thunderbolts, has been particularly intense.
Sangli and Miraj city also faced heavy stormy rain in their rural areas, lasting nearly half an hour. This sudden deluge disrupted normal life, leading to reports of fallen trees in several locations due to the stormy weather.
Srigonda taluka in Ahmednagar district experienced heavy rain for about thirty minutes, while other parts of the district saw cloudy conditions. Satara city also encountered heavy rain in the afternoon, accompanied by strong winds and lightning strikes.
