The Union Health Ministry has termed the media reports claiming that there is no National Entrance cum Eligibility Test – Master of Dental Surgery, NEET MDS examination centres in the Northeastern States as false. The Ministry stated that there are examination centres in Northeastern States which are allotted in Shillong, Naharlagun, Kohima, Aizawl, Guwahati and Kolkata. It said, moreover, in the second application window for NEET-MDS 2024 which closed on the 11th of this month, only 560 candidates have registered.
