Union Health Minister reviewed progress of construction work at high-tech Patna Medical College and Hospital

Union Health Minister JP Nadda today reviewed the progress of construction work at the high-tech Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) at Patna, which is being developed as the world’s second-largest hospital. The central government is providing assistance to Bihar for the development of an over 5400-bed hospital with superspeciality facilities.

 

Mr. Nadda will also inaugurate and dedicate two superspeciality hospitals in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur. He will conduct a site visit at Shobhan Ekmi bypass for the AIIMS, Darbhanga, for which the Centre has appointed a new agency. Today is the last day of his Bihar visit. He reached Patna yesterday. Earlier, Mr. Nadda visited the Takht Shri Harimandir Sahib at Patna and offered prayers.

 

The BJP President also attended the membership drive of the Bihar BJP at Khajekalan Ghat in old Patna. The Bihar BJP has set a target of one crore new members in the next two months in the state.
