In Haryana, Mr Satvinder Rana, a two-time legislator from the Rajound Assembly constituency in Kaithal district has quit the JJP. He has sent his resignation to the party president, Ajay Singh Chautala.
In his resignation letter, Rana cited the neglect of party workers, leaders, farmers and traders as the reason for his resignation.
He said that he felt suffocated within the party, with the leadership remaining silent on these issues. He said that he would reach out to his supporters for future planning and disclose it soon.
A day before, Nishan Singh, the Haryana President of Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) and general secretary Kamlesh Saini had quit the party.
Mr Nishan Singh, a former MLA from Tohana in Fatehabad, was heading the state unit of JJP for the past more than five years. He said that he had conveyed his decision to the party’s national president.
Mrs Saini, who is also chairperson of Narnaul municipal council, had sent her resignation letter to Ajay Chautala, saying that she is “resigning from the primary membership of the JJP and from all the posts he hold.
Saini said she has taken the decision keeping in view the sentiments and feedback from her supporters.
