The acting Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini visited Peepli, Ladwa and Babain grain markets of Kurukshetra on Friday to take stock of the ongoing purchase of paddy, and instructed officials to redress the grievances of the farmers. Replying to the journalists, he said that officials have been told to purchase every grain of paddy, and that the farmers should not face any problem related to their payment.
He said that if anyone buys paddy even a penny less than the minimum support price, then the officials will investigate it. Mr Nayab Singh said that a meeting was held with the rice mill owners yesterday to know about their problems.
In response to another question on the recruitment of youth, he said that the recruitment result of 25 thousand youth will be released soon.
