Haryana Elections: Political Leaders Intensify Efforts to Woo Voters as Campaigning Nears End

Election campaign in Haryana is at its peak. Political leaders have been making all-out efforts to woo voters with only one day left for campaigning.

 

Union  Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh addressed rallies at Sadhaura of Yamunanagar district and Pehowa of Kurukshetra district.  He accused the Congress of doing politics of lies.

 

Other BJP leaders Anurag Thakur and actress and MP Hema Malini campaigned in three assembly constituencies of Kurukshetra.

 

Hema Malini held a road show in Ladwa while  Anurag Thakur and MP Naveen Jindal held a road show in Thanesar.

 

For Congress, National General Secretary of the party Priyanka Gandhi today addressed election rallies in Bawani Khera of Bhiwani district and Juliana of Jind district while Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a rally in Charkhi Dadri.

 

Priyanka Gandhi said that farmers are being misled in the name of minimum support price.

 

Elsewhere, Senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia held a road show in favour of party candidates from Hisar and Adampur. Appealing to the people, he said that his party would bring about improvement in the education sector if it came to power.

 

AAP leader and Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema also held a road show in Fatehabad. 

 

The election campaign will end tomorrow evening.
