Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has said that the government is committed to provide social security to all citizens. He said this, while digitally disbursing the Financial Assistance to 3rd and 4th Stage Cancer Patients yesterday. Mr Saini launched two new schemes to provide financial assistance to people suffering from cancer and 55 other rare diseases. Minister JP Dalal was also present on this occasion.

The Chief Minister said that now cancer patients of stage 3 and 4 will also get financial assistance of 3000 rupees per month. People suffering from cancer and 55 other rare diseases can avail benefits by applying online through Saral portal.

He said that this financial assistance will be in addition to the benefits available under any other social security pension scheme. This scheme has been implemented for people of all age groups having annual income less than Rs 3 lakh.
